5 Days a Stranger is an adventure game where you take the role of Trilby. Trilby breaks into a house that is supposed to be empty, but of course things are never that easy. He finds a group of strangers and together they discover they are trapped in the house by someone or something with a sinister plan. You must find a way out of the mansion before something terrible happens.
As an adventure game, 5 Days a Stranger depends on the quality of its puzzles and its writing. Both are high quality. The game manages to be both funny and suspenseful, while you search for items, solve puzzles, and interact with the other trapped strangers. The puzzles are never too difficult, but a few are a bit too easy. The music is very good for an adventure game, being high quality and adding quite a bit to the experience. The graphics are very old school, so they may or may not suit your taste. If you are a fan of old school adventure games, they may tickle your nostalgia.
If you like adventure games 5 Days a Stranger is definitely worth a try. Lots of interesting mysteries and puzzles await, and it's free so give it a shot!
