Agatha Christie Death on the Nile is a video game adaption of the classic Agatha Christie book, A Death on the Nile. Players take control of the famous detective Hercule Poirot and board a cruise ship on the Nile, only to discover that death is on board. Players much navigate the boat and solve the mystery before the killer strikes again. As Poirot you have to discover evidence, examine objects, and question witnesses.
The story is obviously based on the famous book, so the story in general is beyond reproach. The character writing holds up well enough and makes for an interesting mystery. The graphics are well done in a smooth animated style that should ensure the game holds up well for years. The adventure and puzzle gameplay is well done and set at a good difficultly level. Occasionally you will have to sit and think for a minute but you will never be stumped for long. Overall a very strong adventure game, which is good since it means the quality story of the book isn't wasted. The game will keep you guessing till the very end.
