See what it's like to be an ant living under the ground and having other ants cater to your every need when you play Ant Queen.

The basis of the game is that you're the queen ant. All of the other little ants bow down to you and will take care of you so that you don't have to go search for food. Colors in the game are monotone with a lot of brown and green shades. The design of the ants is a bit comical, but you can see the details on them that you might not see if you were looking at an ant on the ground. There aren't a lot of sound effects, but there is music that goes along with the movements of the ants.

A menu can be pulled down in the left corner at the top of the screen. This is also where you'll see the number of points you earn while sending your troops to do your bidding. As the queen, you are the largest ant. There are several types of smaller ants in the game, but you want to control the queen more than them. You can establish a complete empire, breeding ants to make them stronger. When the ants leave the home, they will search for food and start to build tunnels in the ground so that the empire will expand. As you build, your points will increase, which can then be spent on upgrades for the ants and even the decorations that you want to add to the empire.

Pros

  • Stay busy in the game
  • Different ants to work with

Cons
