Backgammon Classic by Microsys is a computer game for PCs that use Windows XP or higher. Backgammon Classic recreates the classic board game authentically and completely, and the newest version has a wide range of features and refinements. Features include customizable and challenging AI, a traditional wood finish playing board, and 2D and 3D viewing options. Refinements include enhanced graphics, multiple checker styles, and multi-level AI that is much improved over last version.
Backgammon classic also has tutorials, help pages, a recommended move feature, an undo move feature, an intuitive mouse-based interface, keyboard commands and much more. The game also keeps track of a wide range of statistics. Players can use the statistics to track their own performance and evolution, and they can opt to upload it to the server where the ratings exist alongside other Backgammon Classic player ratings. Backgammon Classic supports single player, local multiplayer and multiplayer by LAN. Registered game owners can play multiplayer online via the web software.
