This is the single player demo to the original hit Battlefield: 1942. The game pits you as a soldier during World War II fighting back the Axis army. The game revolutionized FPS play when it first came out by favoring teamwork and game modes outside of deathmatch, such as capture the flag and territorial control. It also set itself aside from other games by featuring first person vehicular combat, such as tanks and airplanes, as well as the traditional first person view. The demo does not contain multiplayer; it only has the single player experience. This is a great game to try for any avid fan of World War II first person shooters.
