"Blood Frontier" is an open source mass multiplayer online first-person shooter that's similar in theme to "Unreal Tournament." Set in a plague-ravaged space colony where humans have turned into mad cannibals, the game casts players as androids that must stop the infected creatures from destroying what's left of civilization.
Gameplay features arena-based combat with an abundance of maps and a variety of modes, including options like Death Match and Capture the Flag. The battlefield environment boasts low gravity, allowing players to jump high into the air for even more hectic shootouts. Players can also execute a double jump for greater maneuverability. While the various shotguns, plasma pistols, and other weapons can unleash bloody horror, the game includes a kid mode that eliminates all the blood and gore, making the matches more suitable for younger audiences.
