Upon its release, Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood proved to be popular among thousands of gamers. This particular title featured an in-depth campaign that takes places during World War II and follows main characters from the previous Brothers in Arms title. Squads are used to complete objectives and can be ordered at the press of a button. Graphics and sound for this game proved to be fairly advanced for the time and drew praise. However, the title's realistic portrayal of war proved to be its biggest draw. Critics and gamers alike praised this element of the game. Also, a small multiplayer section was available, which proved a nice addition. In the end, Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood earns a spot as one of the best WWII shooters out there.
