Cortex Command is a 2d action game focused on lots of options and lots of explosions. You take control of a floating brain that can control another humanoid of your choice. Robots, soldiers, zombies, the list is endless. Then they all have access to a massive list of weapons, both real and imaginary. You purchase weapons with gold coins earned through victories. All of this prepares you to cause havoc in the levels and watch the physics send missiles and body parts flying. The game is still is beta so for now things are basically limited to skirmish mode, where you can place anything you want and then hit start and let the havoc unfold. The graphics are great, everything is sprite based but very detailed. The game is a lot of fun and chaos, hopefully the final version will add more missions and game types. Definitely worth a try if you like games like Worms or Soldat.
