Try to keep your patience as you drive a taxi and take passengers to their destinations.

The first thing that you'll enjoy about this game is the graphics. They look like they are from a classic video game and so full of color that you think you're really driving on the road. The first-player setting helps a lot with the feeling of being on the road. Sound effects on Crazy Taxi are crazy. You can hear the gasps of the passengers as you speed along the roads and hear the crunch if you happen to run into something.

The game involves several challenges. However, you're a driver who doesn't always pay attention to the rules of the road, sometimes wrecking more than getting any driving done. You'll see your passengers standing on the sidewalk. They will get into your car so that you can take them to one of many places around the town. Some of the passengers can cause trouble by not making up their mind as to where they want to go, but there are some who will simply sit back and let you take control. You want to ignore all of the driving rules and do everything you can to get to the destination as fast as you can. This might include running over a few fire hydrants or even running a few red lights. There is a time limit involved in getting the passengers to where they want to go in the city.
