This is an edition of the game that brings a bit of spark to the Dragon Ball universe.
There is more of a story line to this version with a bit of history to the characters and why they are where they are in the game. Instead of repeating some of the information that you've already read or heard, the game gives background in a way that is new and enticing. Colors of the game are vibrant and draw you in to the screen while playing. The sound effects could use a bit of work as they don't really match the characters and the story, but they are decent.
Time Breakers are seen in the game. They try to change the time and space continuum, making it difficult sometimes to get ahead at all in the levels. They also make it to where history has to be rewritten. This is where you come in as you can help shape what happens with the characters. Your goal is to prevent any kind of catastrophe that looks like it's about to take place by defeating the enemies. You will create your hero before beginning your journey in Toki Toki. There is a story mode that gives a few more details than free playing. This mode tends to focus more on learning about the characters and where they fit into the universe where the free play gives you more ways to do battle. Tournaments can be played in the game against other players online.
