F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate is an expansion to F.E.A.R. a first person shooter and horror game. The game, like the original, consists mainly of exploring spooky abandoned buildings, having something jump out at you, finding enemy clone soldiers, killing them, and repeating. In the original this was done well. The environments were well designed, the story was fresh, and the graphics engine was new and looked good. With this 2nd expansion, everything is getting a bit long in the tooth and has been outdone by similar games. It does not help that this expansion is pretty buggy and can crash more often than you'd like. If you have never played F.E.A.R. you should start with the original and play this only if you love it and can't get enough. If you have played the original, this is more of the same, so take that as you will.
