This racing game is one that features speed and numerous tracks that offer a fun experience.
FlatOut 2 is a racing game that is fun to play, but the graphics need quite a bit of work. The cars look like toy cars on the tracks with boxy designs. The tracks aren't that bad in the way that they look, but you have to use your imagination at times to picture where you're driving in the country. You can customize your cars to a point by changing the color or adding upgrades that make the car handle better and go faster. There are details of your races on the side of the screen along with your best times and the laps that you have completed.
The game is available in English and Spanish. When you start playing the game, there aren't that many cars to choose from and only one truck. As you continue advancing, you'll have access to more cars, but they are still outdated in how they look. Some of the tracks are on dirt while some are on pavement. You can change the view from the car depending on how you like to drive. A speedometer is in the lower right corner, giving you an idea of how fast you're driving and the gear that you're driving in if it's a manual transmission. Your position is at the top of the screen. Graphics of the towns you race through are decent, but they could be improved greatly.
