A side-scrolling, multiplayer shooter for the PC, "Gibbage" puts a lighthearted spin on standard deathmatch games. While it includes a single-player option, "Gibbage" is meant to be played against another human opponent, with the multiplayer mode delivering frantic action.
Each player has a cloning chamber positioned on his side of the screen. A gun-toting clone emerges from each chamber, engaging in furious gun play while attempting to collect power crystals to fuel the cloning chamber. Each time a clone dies, the chamber spawns a new clone and suffers a drop in power. The first player to sap his opponent of all his power, and thus prevent more cloning, wins.
The game features cartoon graphics that make even the bloody fighting seem more hilarious than violent. The 2D, side-scrolling gameplay harkens back to classic 16-bit games, only further enhancing the madcap feel. And with more than 27 unique arenas in which to fight, including battles atop a speeding train and inside a hospital crawling with zombies, there's no end to the fun.
