Few video games in recent years have made quite the impact on the public and media consciousness that the Grand Theft Auto franchise has. With themes of violence and sexuality at the forefront of the game's selling point, the games have made headlines for their controversial nature for well over 10 years, while causing the video game industry to rethink the nature of games as less "Pac Man" and more "Scarface."

That hasn't stopped a new generation of fans from finding fun in the series, and supporters of GTA have often said that the violence is mere fantasy with no applicability to real life or behavior, a relic long past in a media that has seen shows on HBO and other networks deal with similarly taboo subjects.

With that new generation of interest in GTA comes a demand for a new look at the older editions. As the controversial series of games tops a decade-plus run of hits, its makers have created new programs to update the older versions of the game with add-ons and perks, as well as new versions for different platforms. This is good news for those who want an improved experience of one of their favorite games, and many players are hoping to see additional add-ons and modifications for the series that can bring the old experience of GTA up a notch.

This add-on features three wonderful cars that players can bring in to the GTA world. Matching some of the best auto games of recent years, these cars were designed for a visceral and fun experience that would build on the strengths of the franchise. Since GTA San Andreas is now in its tenth year, the new cars give a decidedly new twist to the playing of the series.
