Heavy Weapon is a game by Popcap, best known for Bejeweled and Plants vs Zombies. In Heavy Weapon, you control an artillery platform and must defend yourself by blasting planes, tanks, and tons of other enemies.
Heavy Weapon brings the usual Popcap quality to a staple arcade game type. The game starts out simple but quickly adds upgrades, obstacles, and new enemies to make things more interesting. The graphics are not bad for what could have been a basic flash game. You will want to try to survive as long as possible and up your high score, because that's really all there is to do, sadly. Heavy Weapon is a decent idea done well, but still not a whole lot going on. Always worth a try since it is has a demo.
