Jets'n'Guns Gold is an incredible side-scrolling space shooter from Czech developer Rake in Grass. Take to the skies and outspace with a series of increasingly powerful ships. Unlike the original Jets'n'Guns, this version jumps straight into the action with the first mission, to capture the super-advanced TMIG fighter. Equip your ship with extravagant and outlandish weapons from the Shop, then unleash your fury against Xoxx's forces in a series of missions, each more challenging than the last. The entire soundtrack is produced by Swedish chiptune-metal band Machinae Supremacy, which on its own should make up your mind to play this game.
If you want to charge right into the action, remember the helpful cheat codes "arnold_for_president 1" and "richman X" (where X is the amount of money you want.) Don't go too crazy with it, but this will give you some immediate firepower to get you well on your way. Take flight against Justin Perfect, the Beer Cube, and a seemingly endless horde of space pirates.
The title really says it all. Jets, guns, blood, chiptunes ... I think I'm going to go play it again right now.
