Developed by Avalanche Studios, Just Cause 2 sees players controlling Rico Rodriguez, a member of a group called the Agency. Thrust into a somewhat chaotic island nation, Rico is tasked with taking down oppressive dictator Baby Panay. By teaming up with three crime syndicates on the island, your goal is cause enough chaos on the island to get Panay's attention and ultimately bring him down.
The game is open-world, which allows you to either explore the island of Panau as you wish or simply follow along with the missions from the storyline. As you make your way through the different kinds of terrain on the island, you have multiple tools and weapons to choose from to aid you in your journey. One particularly fun combination is the parachute and grappling hook. These items allow you to grab on to helicopters and other vehicles, and then safely float away, which makes travel a breeze. The hook can also be used to stop enemy vehicles or help you reach out of the way areas.
If you're looking for a fun single-player game with lots of action, Just Cause 2 is just right for you. With a beautiful environment to explore and tons of firepower at your disposal, you can be entertained for hours.
