Mental Repairs Inc is a point and click adventure game where you take the role of a psychic repairman. He has to venture inside the minds of appliances to fix their problems.
This is quite an original setting for a game, however the ingenuity is not carried over to the writing, which is only decent. You play the game by going from case to case and talking your way through the minds of the appliances. All the puzzles are conversation based. The difficultly range on these puzzles goes from easy to moderate, it shouldn't take too many tries to get through the whole game. The game itself is relatively short, which is not a surprise given the indie nature.
The graphics are good for an indie game, with a lot of detail and a nice stylized look. The sound is a bit lacking, it makes the game feel empty.
Overall, a very original game that with a bit more work would be a great adventure game. As it stands it is just above average. Definitely worth a try for the setting and because it is free.
