Rayman Legends is the highly-anticipated follow-up to Rayman Origins, which was the first game that propelled Rayman into a new era of popularity and fun.
Released just a year after the prequel title, Rayman Legends is an excellent expansion of the game-changing Rayman Origins. This expanded title offers players new adventures and challenges to get through in order to claim victory.
Rayman is a unique character if for no other reason than his floating hands and feet that seem to be attached to his body through no physical means. While he lacks literal arms and legs, he is still one of the most powerful characters in his world. He lives in the Glade of Dreams with his friends, but he'll have to leave the Glade and save the world once more if he wants to protect his way of life.
With more than one hundred levels in Rayman Legends, there is more than enough content to keep players interested. Like the original Super Mario games, the levels are grouped together in Worlds. The Worlds all have different themes as well, which helps make the game more engaging as the player advances.
While this game does have much more content that Rayman Origins, it is surprisingly close in gameplay to the original. That could be considered a good thing for players who loved the original and didn't want to have to learn new controls or mechanics, but most seasoned players will find that the game is almost too similar in scale. Of course, the addition of multiplayer is enough to make up for the lack of total innovation.
