In Sleeping Dogs, you're an undercover police officer who meets a few challenging situations as well as a few plot twists that are rather funny at times.

Although the design of the game is one that looks like a typical racing game, the details draw you in to each scene. With the realistic sound effects and situations, you sometimes think that you're in the middle of a movie with police officers in Hong Kong and the people you're trying to catch. There is a main story to the game, but what can make it confusing is that there are several subplots. You can hijack an armored car or a train or help the federal officers of Hong Kong find the people who are the biggest drug criminals.

There is a variety of weapons that you can use along with marital arts. The skills that you have can be developed as the game continues. You're working undercover after living in San Francisco, so you have to pay attention to your surroundings while trying to scope out the people you're talking to in order to see who you need to arrest at a later time. Your goal is to help the police by completing missions that they want you to do while acting like you're a member of the gang without getting caught. Each mission brings you closer to discovery, so this is a rather challenging game if you aren't able to keep two worlds separated.
