SpongeBob SquarePants: The Game of Life is a PC version of LIFE, a classic Milton Bradley board game, while integrating a SpongeBob SquarePants theme. LIFE, or The Game of Life, is a parlor game that simulates a person’s life: college, marriage, kids, jobs, retirement and so forth. SpongeBob SquarePants is a popular animated comedy and adventure program for children. LIFE blends nicely with the world of SpongeBob SquarePants, and kids can enjoy the game without all the adult subject matter.
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Game of Life is not a full download game. Instead, it’s hosted at the Nickelodeon arcade online. The downside to this approach is that the game isn’t available without an Internet connection. The upside is that the experience is very kid-friendly, and kids should be able to play easily without technical support from the parents. It’s worth noting that the SpongeBob SquarePants version takes some liberties with the classic structure, so LIFE fans may be disappointed.
