Thinktanks is a 3d 3rd person action game. You take control of a brain trapped in a tank and you must blast your way through other tanks to gain your freedom. You can blast other tanks in a skirmish mode versus AI controlled bots or go online and fight other people. You get dropped into a relatively large map where you can drive around at high speed collecting power ups and aiming your tank shots at others. Driving and aiming is easy to learn but hard to master, and getting that perfect shot at long distance gives a real sense of achievement. There's a ton of different power ups in a mario kart style, they can help you or be weapons against your opponents. You can customize your tank in the main menu for a little variety. There's several different levels but they look pretty much the same, they just have a different layout. The graphics are cute and cartoony, very easy on the eyes. Overall the game is great fun for blasting things online, single player is less interesting but still decent.
