What is The Captain?

You play a stranded science officer in a single-player, third-person point-and-click adventure, carrying the only means to stop an attack on Earth. You choose destinations across the galaxy, explore planets, solve puzzles, and repair or upgrade your ship. You can fight turn-based space battles or avoid them.
