What is Take Off The Rocket?

You control an astronaut trying to reach and launch a rocket in each level of this 2D pixel-art platformer. Move and jump past traps across Earth and Moon levels; dying too often, too quickly can reset your run. A separate practice mode lets you replay levels you have reached without risking the run.

For you if...

  • +you enjoy difficult platforming built around traps and timing
  • +you like replaying levels to improve personal bests

Not for you if...

  • −you dislike precision jumps around deadly traps
  • −you prefer forgiving platformers without run resets

Does Take Off The Rocket use AI-generated content?

Yes. The developers disclose AI-generated content on the game's Steam page:

Some level layouts in Take Off The Rocket were drafted with the help of AI tools. Every level was then playtested, tuned and approved by the developer. Some music tracks were also created with generative AI tools and then selected and edited by the developer. All artwork and sound effects were made without generative AI. The game does not generate any content live while you play.

Self-reported by the developer under Steam rules: it covers AI content that ships in the game, not tools used to make it.
