What is DeepCore Breach?

DeepCore Breach is a top-down sci-fi tower defense game where creatures emerge from rifts and head toward your base. Across campaign maps, you place and aim turrets beside their paths, fire a base-mounted cannon at approaching swarms, and buy upgrades that persist between runs. There is also an endless mode and a map editor.

For you if...

  • +you like lining up turrets to hit enemy columns
  • +you enjoy keeping upgrades between attempts
  • +you want endless survival or a map editor

Not for you if...

  • −you prefer combat without planning defensive positions
  • −you want upgrades that reset after every attempt

Does DeepCore Breach use AI-generated content?

Yes. The developers disclose AI-generated content on the game's Steam page:

Much of the artwork (enemies, turrets, bosses, effects, stage maps, UI icons, logo), the music, and part of the code were produced with generative AI tools and then edited and curated by the developer. The game does not use AI at runtime; no content is generated during play.

Self-reported by the developer under Steam rules: it covers AI content that ships in the game, not tools used to make it.
