Air Assault 3D is a action game where you take control of a helicopter and blast your way through many missions. This game follow the same formula as the Soviet Strike and Nuclear Strike games from EA for the original Playstation. If you remember those games fondly, Air Assault 3d is sure to bring back some memories. You complete missions by flying around, picking up upgrades, and using different weapons to blast the enemy. The game is a good bit of arcade fun as you fly around and blow things up, but don't expect a very deep and involved challenge. There's several different choppers to choose from, which vary in controls and stats, and several different mission types, including night missions. The graphics and sound effects are both decent, but nothing great to speak of. In the end, it all depends on how much you get out of blowing stuff with a chopper.
