Beat Hazard is a top down shooter that lets you use your own music files to help generate the levels. You add music to the game and then enemies and obstacles will appear according to the beat and tempo. This lets you listen to your music and play a game at the same time without ignoring in game music or sound effects. The game tracks your score and has a level system. There's also tons of upgrades to pick up that really increase your power. The game is a fairly good top down shooter, just don't expect any story. The action gets pretty hectic with tons of debris and enemies flying around, it can get pretty difficult depending on the difficultly level and the song combination. The game is a good way to relax and listen to your music and it's certainly creative.
