This is a hunting game for those who like simulation and enjoy looking for the largest animals in the wild.
From the moment you first start playing the game, you'll think that you're in the middle of the woods. Facial features on the characters and on the animals are extraordinary. They make it seem like you're really talking to someone in your home instead of playing a game. There are several weapons that you can use in the game. The guns are the best if you're looking to snag a few of the larger animals. Bows are best for quiet areas in the woods and smaller animals. Keep in mind that there are certain weapons that are used best with certain animals and during certain times of the year.
You have access to a large map that is a wonderland of adventure. There are trails to follow and areas of trees where you can search on a regular basis. Hints are given in the game, but it's best to explore the territory on your own. Some animals call certain areas home, so you have to walk through to find out which ones are prominent before going off and shooting at just anything that moves. There is a career mode that allows you to get new weapons and explore new areas. This is a bit challenging as there are various tasks to complete that are hard at times, such as bagging the largest animal in the shortest time.
