If you play CoD World at War, there's a new and official Call Of Duty: World at War Patch that was recently released by the development team and it can make your gameplay experience a lot more interesting. The most recent patch adds some interesting new elements to the famous Call of Duty video game, in addition to fixing a variety of bugs and glitches that were reported by players previously.
Among the elements that the Call Of Duty: World at War Patch fixes are the several bugs in multiplayer mode that interfered with the game's performance. The most important one is the lag that many players experienced after firing on tanks. It also fixes some texture issues that would intermittently appear when the player runs on some maps or when they jump while being close to a wall. The game's engine has also seen a few improvements with this patch. The most notable one is the creation of a better spawn system in multiplayer mode. The rest are minor bug fixes.
In addition to fixing problems with the game, this patch also brings something that any true CoD fan will love: more maps to play on. The CoD Map Pack 1 that is part of the patch includes an original zombie map, as well as three multiplayer maps called Station, Nightfire and Kneedeep.
The patch is available as a free download. As it's just an update and not a standalone game, you will need to have the full version of Call of Duty already installed. If you haven't downloaded the previous patch (version 1.2), you will need to install it before this one.
