Reversi, also known commonly as Othello, is a two-player game that uses an 8x8 board. Reversi incorporates elements of checkers as well as the classic Chinese game Go. A game of Reversi ends when neither player can make a valid move. The goal of the game is to have more pieces, or disks, left than the opponent when that end condition occurs.
Deep Green Reversi is a computer version of Reversi that is available for Windows-based PCs and Android devices. It’s worth noting that Othello is simply a brand name, and that there are no differences between it and any traditional Reversi implementation. Deep Green Reversi supports all Reversi rules as well as many of the most common house rules. It supports single player and has multiple levels of AI. At the highest difficulty level, the AI is quite good. The game also supports multiplayer locally, by LAN and online, and it has a built-in matchmaking service.
