You need never have stepped foot on an actual farm to appreciate the scenarios presented in Farm Frenzy 2, a game focusing on how to make a profit while overseeing day-to-day operation of a farm.
The sequel to Farm Frenzy features plenty of challenges while being relatively simple to catch on to, even if you've never played the original version.
In addition to facing tough scenarios on the farm, such as protecting your animals from predatory wildlife, you will find yourself deciding which of your products, if any, to ship to the city for sale in a market. The game offers 16 farm products, but limits you to how many you can haul in a truck at one time, which forces you to make some difficult decisions along the way.
You can earn bonus points on each level by completing all assigned tasks within a given period of time.
As you advance, you will face greater challenges, as well as enjoy more amenities, including upgraded farm buildings and dogs that help you keep the bears away.
The game is equipped with fun graphics, including 3-D animals and animated vehicles. Visually, it's a pleasure.
If you are someone who plays to relax, you might find the increasing difficulty of Farm Frenzy 2 too much. On the other hand, if you are up for a test of wits, this game will be right up your alley.
