FIFA 16

FIFA 16 is a recent edition of the world's most popular soccer simulation video game. It lets you take control of players from some of the most famous teams around the world, no matter which one is your favorite. As an officially licensed FIFA product, the game features the likeness of actual soccer stars, teams, leagues and locations. You can expect the same realism, solid game play and excellent quality graphics as in the previous editions of the game, but there are also many new elements in the 2016 release.

Perhaps one of the most prominent new element in the game is the addition of 12 women's international teams. This change has been beautifully executed by the developers, as the female soccer players aren't just redesigned male players, but behave in a different way on the pitch, which reflects their real-life playing style.

The online mode, called FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) is still there in FIFA 16 and has been subject to a few improvements. The draft mode has been made simpler, so you don't have to spend hours creating your team and getting it ready to play. There is now a career mode, which lets you create a player and put them through some training mini-games that boost their stats as they gain skill. A few other adjustments have been made to FUT that make it more enjoyable without having to spend real money, something that many players feel they deserve as they already paid for the main game.

The only area where FIFA 16 still needs some more work is certain aspects of the gameplay. Very often, when an opponent has the ball, your best bet is still to wait until one of their players makes a mistake, as opposed to using moves like tackling. There are also cases where your own players won't take advantage of plays you've created for them with no apparent reason. But despite these small shortcomings, FIFA 16 remains one of the best modern football games you can play.
