EA's FIFA Football is one of the best handheld soccer games that fans could ever play. It's got tons of action while delivering a home console experience. EA also introduced a new defense system, which allows players to transition from FIFA 12 right into the latest game. Once players invest time into learning how to use the tactical defense system, they can increase their odds of beating any other team.

EA also wanted to make the game more fun and challenging by eliminating the easy "hold button and tackle" technique that so many players grew used to. While this can still be a challenge to learn if you're used to the old FIFA game, the new system focuses on where the player is and timing kicks just right when going in for a tackle. Players have to learn how to use the person's weight and position to prevent attackers from getting a better position or snagging the ball.

There are also a few new control features that are exclusive to touch. The touch screen can now allow you to pass by tapping on a location desired or tapping on a player that you want to take possession of the ball. You can also change players by tapping or shoot by tapping inside the goal. The front touch screen can be difficult to control because you have to move your hands away from the buttons and sticks that control most of the other movements in the game. This can be very clumsy until you get used to it, but you may just want to start growing a tird hand.

However, rear touch definitely saves this game. The rear touch function allows you to use the fingers that aren't doing anything else to shoot goals, aim at a location and tap away to another player. It's definitely the easier way to play the game.

FIFA Football is a great game with some interesting new mechanics, but it will take even seasoned players a few games to play with the new defense system and touch controls.
