MyMahj is a superb Mah Jongg Solitaire implementation for both Windows and Mac OS. The goal of MyMahj is to clear all tiles from a tile layout. The key to this is matching tile pairs. The tricky aspect is that tiles can only clear when not touching another, and most tiles start out in a touching position.
MyMahj presents tile layouts in a spectacular isometric 3D-like view. The game also uses regular images as backgrounds. The default image is an ocean view of a snow-covered mountain, and that provides the floating tile layout with a surreal quality. MyMahj comes with a wide range of backgrounds included, but a benefit of this approach is that the user can add more simply by importing images. MyMahj uses a basic tile set with Chinese symbols, but players are able to change the color of the tiles to their liking. In addition, players can opt to use tiles with Western alphanumeric characters.
