Mystic Inn is a fun casual game that bears more than a passing resemblance to Diner Dash and other restaurant management games. In this case, you control Daphne, the hostess of an inn that serves all manner of witches, wizards, and warlocks.
Daphne needs to seat her customers, brew the potions they demand, and serve them before they lose their tempers and leave. You'll also need to manage the inn's take-out owl, who brings orders from off-site customers and delivers their potions. Dragons sometimes show up and try to swipe your potions, and must be chased away if you want to keep the inn running smoothly.
The game is divided into five chapters, with ten levels per chapter. Every five levels, you get to try various minigames, and success at these allows you to upgrade the inn with such bonuses as more seating, a juggling frog that keeps customers entertained, and a time-freezing spell that can buy you time to whip up a fresh batch of potions.
Mystic Inn is not a difficult game, but you'll find managing a magical inn complex and fun enough to divert your attention. Don't be surprised if you find the game making several hours magically disappear.
