Prince of Persia El Alma Del Guerrero is the sequel to 2003's The Sands of Time. The game's protagonist, simply known as The Prince, must overcome a beast known as the Dahaka, protector of the Timeline and life's natural course. In the previous game, the Prince managed to release the Sands of Time and lived to tell the tale. However, it is said that whomever overcomes The Sands of Time must sacrifice his own life. Thus, it is the Dahaka's mission to pursue The Prince and ensure he meets his impending fate. As a result of this ordeal, The Prince must travel through a series of timelines and prevent the Sands of Time from being created, which should ultimately appease the Dahaka.
Prince of Persia El Alma Del Guerrero manages to add several new features, including improved graphical capabilities and a robust combat system. This includes the ability to fight with two weapons simultaneously, as well as performing more complex combat sequences than the previous game. Overall, the game delivers a major improvement over an already-great franchise.
