Pro Evolution Soccer 6 has subtle changes compared to the previous games. The matches are excellent and flow smoothly together. Tackling in the game has been improved to where you can get more involved with the combat. Graphics are rather decent, but they could use some improvement while games are being played. The field looks a little hand drawn compared to some other computer games. However, the players have details that are great including the uniforms and expressions on the faces.
There are up close shots of blocks, passes and goals. While playing the game, you can get the feeling that you are on the field when you see the players in this view. Some of the movements seem a little mechanical though and could be updated. You can choose your team in a fun competition, or you can try to take your team to the championship. Pick the players you want on your team, and then practice on the field until your first big match. The tricks and the moves on the field are updated. If you like the fan interaction and stadiums in the game, then you might be disappointed because these aspects have been taken out of the game. There are still some seats, but it is nothing like the previous games.
