Before I say anything else about Rosemary, I have to rave about the graphics. I play a lot of point-and-click mystery games, and the imagery in this game is simply a breath of fresh air. Based on the graphics alone, I would recommend this to anyone who is a die-hard casual mystery/puzzle game fan.
The gameplay reminded me a lot of Time Chronicles games. It was a bit less user friendly than other games, so if you aren't prepared for some major critical thinking, you may find the game too frustrating. There is little to no help when it comes to hints, so an external guide might be necessary to actually solve the puzzles in the game.
Luckily, the game is relatively short, so you won't be referencing a guide for ages. If you're in doubt when it comes to playing a game that might be a bit too difficult and too short, I would suggest trying out a trial version. My guess is that you will be so enamored with the visuals that you decide to take the journey anyway.
