Up the game is based on Up the movie. Usually this would be a sign of a phoned in movie tie in that is a disgrace to fans of the movie. Does Up the game continue the trend?
Well, not really. Up the game is an adventure/puzzle game that you can play by yourself or in co-op. You control the 2 main characters of the movie, and follow the same plot as the movie. You have to navigate environments, fight dogs and other enemies, and solve puzzles that require the skills of both characters to complete. Up has fairly good graphics and decent sound, with lots of content taken straight from the movie. Fans of the movie will probably really enjoy this game, while other may lose interest depending on their taste and patience. The AI can be rather dumb and the overall flow of the game is very simple, with not a lot of challenging puzzles or situations. For a movie game,Up is rather good.. compared to all other games, it is very average.
