What is Dark Bestiary?
This single-player, 2D RPG takes place in a dark fantasy setting. You fight monsters through a mission-based campaign, combine abilities into sets for passive bonuses, and craft weapons, armor, and potions. Treasure maps lead to rewards and traps, and gems let you modify equipment.
For you if...
- +you prefer planning turns over testing your reflexes
- +you enjoy hunting for loot after the campaign ends
Not for you if...
- −you want a story-driven RPG rather than combat-focused missions
- −you expect challenging enemies from the opening missions
What players say
89% of 533 reviews are positive
Players praise the freedom to mix skills and equipment into different builds, along with the combat. Complaints center on repetitive grinding and tedious fights, particularly during the campaign.
