What is Robo Instructus?
You play a Salvage Engineer sent to an isolated, frozen world in this single-player, 2D puzzle game. You write instructions in a programming language to move a robot through puzzles, unlocking new functions as you progress.
For you if...
- +you enjoy algorithmic problem-solving and refining your code
- +you like finding different solutions to the same puzzle
Not for you if...
- −you prefer direct movement controls over writing instructions
- −you want puzzles that stay simple throughout
What players say
80% of 69 reviews are positive
Players praise the freedom to define reusable functions, along with the graphics and music. The most common complaints concern steep difficulty jumps and explanations that do not adequately prepare players for later puzzles.
