What is Cartridge Defense?

A top-down, single-player tower defense game set in a cyberpunk future, where you defend against robots. You assemble decks, play cards to deploy and upgrade towers, and adjust targeting priorities across campaign levels. Replaying cleared levels with randomized enemy spawns earns extra loot.

For you if...

  • +you prefer deliberate preparation over split-second reactions
  • +you want campaign, endless, and roguelike modes

Not for you if...

  • −you dislike collecting cards and refining decks between levels
  • −you want cooperative play or competitive multiplayer

What players say

88% of 82 reviews are positive

Players praise the tactical options created by cards and flexible tower placement. Some criticize uneven difficulty, and the latest review highlights limited viable cards late in the game. Older reviews report tutorial lockups that prevent progress.
