What is The Stone of Madness?
An isometric, single-player stealth game set in an eighteenth-century Spanish monastery that doubles as a prison and asylum. Across two campaigns, you switch between five prisoners, combine their upgradable abilities, evade guards, and collect clues and tools to escape. A continuous day-night cycle changes conditions, with nighttime bringing tighter security and supernatural threats.
For you if...
- +you enjoy demanding stealth puzzles that require careful planning
Not for you if...
- −you prefer turn-based tactics to managing characters in real time
- −you want cooperative play rather than a single-player campaign
What players say
75% of 203 reviews are positive
