What is Chrysalis?

You play a wisp protecting its land from dark magic in this top-down strategy game. Each run alternates between exploring procedurally generated levels to fight monsters and collect resources, and defending a chrysalis against enemy waves. You recruit animal followers, build plant defenses, and combine species to create new creatures.
