What is The Scorchfarer?

This free, single-player visual novel follows novice mages Mikaela and Yukiharu across a world devastated by magical fire. You read the story, search scenes for clues using point-and-click controls, and consult a journal about characters and places. The story unfolds in episodes, with the first lasting about three to four hours.
