What is Islands of the Caliph?

An open-world, first-person action RPG set in an ancient seafaring civilization inspired by Islamic traditions. You travel between islands, fight creatures from folklore in real time, and discover quests as your choices shape the islands' fate. Movement follows a grid, and the controls are keyboard-only.
