What is The Inquisitor?
In this third-person dark fantasy adventure, you play Mordimer Madderdin, an inquisitor investigating crimes in sixteenth-century Koenigstein as an otherworldly evil threatens the living. Across story-driven cases, you track suspects, interrogate them, gather evidence, and fight. You can also enter the Unworld to uncover secrets hidden in suspects’ souls.
For you if...
- +you like branching stories shaped by moral judgments
- +you enjoy Gothic atmosphere and dark fantasy lore
Not for you if...
- −you want religion and institutional cruelty kept out of stories
- −you prefer action without detective work or interrogations
