What is Amarantus?

You play Arik in a single-player visual novel, gathering companions to challenge the country's tyrant after an attack on your home. You read conversations and choose responses while traveling toward the capital with four party members. Each playthrough lasts a few hours, with repeat runs needed to uncover the full story.
