What is Venture to the Vile?

In this 2.5D side-scrolling Metroidvania, you explore the seaside town of Rainybrook while searching for your missing friend Ella. You jump, swing, fight monsters and bosses, solve puzzles, and gain powers that open new areas. Townsfolk have side quests, and some items and quests appear only under certain conditions.
