What is Eve of Calamity?

This single-player RPG takes place in the empire of Asterna and its surrounding islands, where you prepare to stop a returning world-ending threat. You recruit companions, hunt monsters, trade goods, fight in arenas, or take sides in a civil war, with no mandatory quests or fixed story order.
